Also, an old buddy, Matt Byrne has introduced me to Jessica Lindley who has been a great resource for finding potential funding -- which is great because Flatbed needs things and things cost money! Yay!

Sewing Circle of Awesomeness

The sewing circle has formed, combining the super sewing powers of a small group of good friends (who just happen to also be magnificently creative ladies): Ellen Stader, Eunice Yaklin, Deborah Mcadoo, Juliana Azar, and yours truly!

In our last couple of meetings we have riffed on ideas for costumes, pieces for the show, dug through baubles, sparkles, and clothes to alter, and drank lots and lots of red wine.
